Decent frozen pie.. However prices have gone from 5.00 to 8.00 to 11.00 in less than a year. At this point its costs just as much to order out. Pricing yourself outta most people's range.

I tried to order a to go at 5:00 pm. It wouldnt work. So Ii tried to call it in n no answer. Then I drove home n did it on the computer n it didnt give me a confirmation. So I tried to order it again but it said do you want to reorder this again as you just did. So I called to ask why n if it took the order. So the lady finally called me back n said no it didnt take so I gave my order again n she said its be ready in 45 minutes! One hour n a half later then my original order. Terrible service n a 45 min wait for a to go. Not happy

CPK manager mistreatment of customers

I want to bring to your attention a very troubling incident that reflects very poorly on CPK. Last night around 9:30 pm I left my iphone at your Brentwood location on San Vicente Blvd.

I realized it right when I got home. I called the restaurant immediately and the waitress who had waited on us picked up the phone, she checked where I had left my phone and told me that there was no phone there. I asked her to find out from the staff if they had seen it, she did and said it was not there. My husband and I went back to the restaurant to check for ourselves since the Findmyphone app showed my iphone at the restaurant location.

I asked for the manager, Jonathan Lefler. I am writing to you to let you know that his treatment of us was unheard of and unbelievable. CUSTOMER SATISFACTION WAS THE LEAST OF HIS CONCERNS. HE WAS RUDE, UNCARING.

He ridiculed both me and my husband for having left the phone, saying that it was our fault to have left the phone there so we should just take off and leave. He said it was not there, that people there don't take iphones...and did not make any attempt looking for it despite my persistence that the app showed my phone at that location. I asked him to check with the busboy who had cleaned up the table. He said he had left.

I told him to call him. He refused. Meanwhile the busboy who introduced himself as Juan, arrived and said that he had found my phone and had put it in lost/found. As we were waiting in the patio for him to bring the phone, I heard him and the manger having a conversation--it did not sound good.

We went inside and asked for the phone. Juan said that it was not there!!! I got very upset and told them that I would not leave that place until I have my phone. The manager continued his disrespectful behavior and ignored our pleas.

I insisted that Juan check lost/found. He eventually did and came back with my phone!! As my husband and I criticized the manager for his horrible mistreatment of us, he reached out to grab the phone from my husband's hand as if telling him that you make me upset, I don't give your phone to you. We didn't know what to make of his behavior.

While there, other customers shared with us how horrible he was with them as well. This is unbelievable. Why didn't the waitress check lost/found to begin with? Why didn't the manager just check lost/found and give me my phone?

Why did he tell the busboy to deny that the phone was there? I hope you figure all that out and let us know. We have lived in this area for 20 years and went there or ordered pick up all the time. We can't bring ourselves to go back there anymore.

Once this happened to us on the road at some fast food location.

We called them, they told us that they had put it in the manager's office and were saving it for us to get there.

They did not even let us reward the busboy for having saved it and said that it was their policy. What is CPK's policy?

To whom this may concern my first time ordering us pizza from California kitchen it was called on delivery did not have two of the ingredients and it was the worst pizza Ive ever had I will never order from them again !!!

I like cpk a lot. Their food is good. But Every delivery order is missing something. Either there is no ice cream with the desert that I pay extra for, or there is ice cream but no desert, or there is no salsa with their chips or there is no avocado on their tacos. I dont get it, but I am getting very tired of missing items. So I am done ordering from them.

THERE IS NOT A MORE OVERPRICED RESTAURANT ANYWHERE IN THIS COUNTRY THAN CALIF PIZZA KITCHEN WHICH IS A HIGH PRICED DENNY'S. THEIR PORTIONS ARE INSULTING AS WELL AS THEIR PRICING. Hi I did curbside last nite at CPK in Rolling Hills, Ca. I gave them my check in code which was 486 when I placed the order. The bill came to $33.90 and I haven’t received my points yet. I no longer have the receipt. Thanks for your help Robin Rothbardt

I was racially discriminated against today 2/19/2020. I ordered my food and I felt like the waitress was disrespectful and purposely not taking my order as requested, and still had the audacity to serve me a burnt pizza yet still wanted to charge me extra for cheese. The worst part is it was on my birthday. It truly sucked, I will never go back to that restaurant ever again.

Disappointing meal

I have always had good quality food and service from this restaurant but my last delivery order was a different story. The ice cream that was an extra cost didn’t come, and the tortilla chips that are included with the crispy fish tacos were soft and rubbery because they were put them in the same carton as the tacos. Normally, The chips are in a separate carton and there is a good number of them. This order had maybe 10 chips. To add insult to injury the cost of the dish has increased while the amount of food has decreased. The avocado slices had lots of dark spots on them them which indicates rotting. A very disappointing meal indeed.

Won't Go Back

We've had two poor experiences in the last 2 months. First I received a halibut dish in which the fist was extremely over cooked which the manager agreed and it was redone. However, they are slow so my wife was done eating her dish before I even received my redo. Secondly, just two nights ago we order two of the same halibut dishes and they brought one. The waitress said she understood we were going to split it. Wow, splitting was a word that never left our lips so really not sure where that came from... So to not be left as we did before with my wife finishing before my came we did just split hers and left. Servers there are nice but find a lot of it slow and happenings like these last two don'd made us want to come back. So, we won't!

Rude waitress the liar and cashier needs eglish lesson!!!!

I was getting to-gos at the location in La Jolla waiting for my order at the booth (I was never told I can not sit there!). I got kicked out from the booth by the waitress, the liar! I claimed the waitress as a liar since I did not think the customers would have requested that very booth especially when someone was sitting there, while there are so many empty booth available!!!! The worst came when I complaint this to the cashier: she defended that "you were not kicked out" by acting up and stating that she (the waitress) did not use her foot to kick you out, did she? The management at CPK at La Jolla really need to think about how to train the waitresses and the cashiers to be professional if you want to keep you business running! I will be telling this story to everyone and persuade them not to go to CPK!!!!!

Getting Ripped off with Suggested Tip Amount

Went to a CPK restaurant in Sawgrass Mills Mall in Florida. The suggested tip does not add up to the percentage of the total price. On top of the fact that they suggest the tip on the TOTAL price including TAX! Why should anyone pay tip on tax? Our total bill was for $80.26 and the suggested 18% was $16.37 - we all know that 18% of $80.26 should be $14.44 - the suggested 20% tip on the same amount was listed as $18.19 - it should be $16.05!!! When you are at the restaurant and look quickly you do not pay attention and just use the suggested amount - I don't think that this restaurant is being honest with its customers and will be the last time that we eat there. Also, ordered the Chicken Fettuccine and it was awful!

NO service, NO help, Lying Manager

I was contacted by the general manager of this particular CPK location. She apologized profusely for the incredibly bad service and asked if she could send us gift cards. We said ok. That was over 3 weeks ago - NO contact and NO gift cards. Her contact has put the nail in the coffin. Terrible (actually NO) service from a server with 3 tables, including our, in a NOT busy restarant at a NOT busy time. A general manager who apologizes and promises an incentive to have us give her place another chance. And Nothing happens. That speaks volumes to me and my daughter. Give us any reason at all to ever come back to one of your restaurants. Sincerely, Carol Moss

First a hair in appetizer, then a chicken in a veggie pizza. We clearly instructed no meat/ egg in any food due to religious reasons. The server Laura was so rude saying she’s just a server not a cook, no one came to apologize. Posted the complaint on their web page only to get a phone call frm Keith the manager who only spoke “sorry” and will take action. What action against whom god knows? Wonder if he’s a manager or a damager

Ordered California Pizza kitchen pizza and salad over the weekend. Gave us the wrong pizza. Called store and manager said they’d credit the cost back to us. I hate pepperoni and when its overpriced its even worse. Never received the credit! So lame!
